Chapter 2: Not a Hallucination!
He Zhi stared at the screen with disbelief written all over his face.
Although he had been disabled since childhood, which had tempered him into someone steady and calm.
But encountering something this incredible, it was impossible to remain composed.
"Could it be a hallucination?"
After a while, He Zhi forcibly calmed himself down, thinking he might be overworked and experiencing hallucinations.
"I'll go wash my face and come back to look again."
He Zhi stopped looking at the screen and instead wheeled his chair to the bathroom to splash water on his face.

A few minutes later, he returned to the computer screen.
The exquisite scene on the screen hadn't changed much from when he left.
He Zhi stared at the screen, looking left and right, pondering for a moment.
Then, he slowly reached his hand toward the computer screen...
Whoosh...
With a soft sound, He Zhi's hand once again broke through that membrane.
This time, He Zhi watched with his own eyes as his hand disappeared into the screen.
At the same time, he could feel a cool breeze on his hand.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh...
He Zhi refused to believe it and repeatedly moved his hand in and out of the screen...
Eventually, he even pulled out a handful of grass.
"So this kind of thing really exists..."
He Zhi looked at the grass on his desk, smelling the fresh scent it gave off. Everything was incredibly real, without any falsehood. He finally confirmed it.
This game seemed to truly lead to another world.
It wasn't a hallucination!
He Zhi took a deep breath, his heart excited, unable to calm down.
A computer game actually led to a real world.
Moreover, he could bring things from that world back to reality!
As a game booster, he could find ways to make money even in virtual game worlds.
Let alone in a real world?
He Zhi felt that if he used this well, it would definitely change his and his sister's fate!
"However, I must be careful!
This world might be dangerous. If I can take things out from there, could the creatures inside also discover the screen and crawl out through it?"
Although He Zhi was excited, he wasn't reckless.
He remembered an old movie.
Late at night, a white-clothed female ghost crawled out of a TV screen...
What He Zhi faced now might be cultivators or demon beasts crawling out of the screen—that would be even more terrifying.
"Let me test it..."
He Zhi pondered for a moment, then controlled the viewpoint to wander around the mountainside.
Then he found a wild rabbit.
This rabbit was extremely alert, stopping after every step, constantly observing its surroundings. At the slightest danger, it would immediately flee.
However, when He Zhi moved the viewpoint right in front of the rabbit's eyes, he found that the rabbit didn't seem to notice the game screen at all and just kept walking forward on its own.
Finally, the rabbit passed through the viewpoint range and disappeared.
He Zhi tried it with other wild beasts, and there were still no issues.
He Zhi felt slightly relieved.
Then, he moved the viewpoint to the mountain peak and found some cultivators to test on, and still wasn't discovered.
"It seems the creatures in this world can't detect my observation."
Only then did He Zhi completely relax.
Then, he once again moved the viewpoint to a deserted area on the mountainside.
"Let me try one more time..."
He Zhi muttered to himself, hesitated for a moment, then slowly stuck his head into the screen again.
"So refreshing!"
The instant his head broke through that membrane, He Zhi felt incredibly fresh air rushing toward him once more.
With just one breath, He Zhi felt his spirit lift, becoming more awake than ever before.
He felt that all the air he'd breathed before was garbage—it practically burned his throat!
Even his numb legs seemed to have regained a bit of sensation.
"This game is called Pocket Cultivation. Logically speaking, it should be a cultivation world, so there's Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi in the air? What I just breathed in was Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi?
If a game can lead to another world, then having real cultivation and Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi doesn't seem strange either."
He Zhi couldn't help but suspect that he had breathed in the legendary Heaven and Earth Spiritual Qi, which was why he felt so refreshed.
"It seems those wild beasts can't see me. Could I be invisible in this world?"
He Zhi also discovered that when he brought his face close to observe those rabbits and birds, they showed no reaction.
Earlier, when observing through the screen, it was normal for the rabbits not to notice him.
Now He Zhi had stuck his head in, yet still wasn't discovered.
This made He Zhi even more reassured—these alert wild beasts couldn't see him.
He didn't know if those cultivators could see him; that still needed testing.
"Something feels off, my face..."
At this moment, He Zhi suddenly felt that his facial skin, under the breeze of this world's air, seemed to have become much firmer.
This feeling was very subtle. He Zhi's facial skin hadn't become stiff—it was still soft, and his expressions moved freely.
But it seemed to have become much firmer and stronger.
Simply put, it felt like his face had gotten thicker...
At the same time, He Zhi felt that even his five senses had become much sharper and faster.
"Let me try my arm."
He Zhi thought for a moment and directly extended one hand inside.
At this point, half his body had already entered the screen.
Fortunately, his screen was a large 27-inch display, so it didn't feel cramped or crowded.
"My hand too! I can't even feel pain in my face anymore."
He Zhi carefully sensed and found that his hand had also become much tougher.
He pinched his face hard and found there was no pain at all.
It wasn't numbness, but rather that his skin was too thick, his defense too strong—it felt like he couldn't pinch it.
"Could it be that in this world, my body has been enhanced? Let me test it again."
He Zhi had an idea. He looked around and saw a rock over three meters tall beside him.
Tentatively, he threw a light punch at it.
BOOM!
He Zhi felt like he had thrown a light punch.
But as the punch shot out, sand and stones immediately flew, air currents surged, and a violent wind whipped up from flat ground.
The large rock shattered before even making contact with his fist!
When it finally made full contact, it exploded outright!
Stone dust filled the sky. The large rock had disappeared, leaving only a large crater blasted out by the rock fragments.
"This power..."
He Zhi stared at the crater, somewhat dazed.
He was actually this strong in this cultivation world? A casual light punch had such power.
This greatly reassured him. With strength, he had confidence in this world.
However, He Zhi still couldn't gauge exactly what level his strength was in this world, so he still couldn't be careless.
"Who's there?"
Just then, a sharp shout came from the distance.
He Zhi's punch just now was like detonating a large amount of explosives.
The sound was too loud and had attracted the attention of the cultivators on the mountain!
"Someone's coming!
The language they're speaking is similar to the Great Xia Kingdom's—I can understand it."
He Zhi was slightly startled and quickly withdrew his body back to the real world, waiting quietly.
After a while, two cultivators descended from the sky, standing on a magical artifact that looked like a giant leaf.
