Chapter 3: Top-Tier Beauty Teacher
"What should we do then? It's this late, no way we'll get a cab, and even if we did, I wouldn't ride it." Dai Keni now had an inexplicable fear of taxis. If not for this 'Good Samaritan,' she probably would've been done for.
Invisibly, the beautiful Dai had developed a tiny bit of dependence on Qin Ruo, but that quickly vanished into thin air with his next words.
"How about I carry you back on my back?"
"Go to hell!"
Driving the taxi that belonged to those little punks from earlier, Qin Ruo took Dai Keni toward Binhai University. Turns out, Dai Keni was a university teacher.
Becoming a university teacher at such a young age, Dai Keni's abilities matched her stunning looks on the same level. Qin Ruo's first impression of her was extremely positive.

An hour later, they arrived at Binhai University, but with night fully fallen, the school gates were closed. Luckily, there were plenty of hotels and guesthouses nearby, all catering to university couples eager to unleash their youthful energies.
He parked the car in front of a proper hotel. The two exchanged phone numbers, and Dai Keni got out, heading into the hotel. Before leaving, she waved goodbye to Qin Ruo.
Qin Ruo hummed cheerfully. Having just returned to the country and already meeting such a top-tier beauty teacher—his mood was great.
Driving on, he noticed the surroundings had changed dramatically. He couldn't help exclaiming in surprise, "Heh, this city has changed so much. Didn't realize seven years had flown by so fast."
Over half an hour later, the car pulled into a rundown old street—the only place in the city that still preserved last century's ancient architecture. The people here were as backward as the buildings, with generally low incomes.
Broken utility poles lined the streets, plastered with all sorts of small ads—cowpox moss, prostate treatments. Pockmarked cement roads, dilapidated houses, crumbling towers; these were forever stains in the eyes of the city's managers.
But to someone like Qin Ruo, they represented something else: nostalgia.

Driving a bit further, he arrived in front of a luxurious villa. Qin Ruo murmured softly, "Finally home."
After all this time away, this place hadn't changed at all, filling him with a bit of pleasant surprise.
He casually parked the car to the side, popped the trunk, and pulled out his suitcase. With complex emotions, he gazed at the villa before him—this was the only inheritance his parents had left him before they passed. Familiar feelings gradually welled up.
He fished out the key to the front gate and slowly pushed the door open. A cloud of dust hit him in the face, and Qin Ruo covered his nose with his hand.
Flipping on the lights, he looked around: spiderwebs in every corner of the walls, thick dust blanketing the floors. It was clear no one had lived here in a long time.
The villa was huge—a three-story modern building with an outdoor swimming pool in the back. In today's booming Binhai, a place this size could easily fetch no less than fifty million. Even in District C, it was one of a kind.
Running upstairs alone, he opened all the room doors to air things out. Bustling around for a few hours, it finally started to feel like home.
Lounging comfortably on the sofa in the first-floor living room, Qin Ruo had a blood-red laptop in front of him, browsing the news. The laptop's shell featured a striking blood wolf pattern.
With practiced ease, he entered a 48-character mix of Chinese and English as the password. The screen lit up with a ferocious giant wolf howling as it charged across a battlefield. Soon, the desktop interface loaded.
He effortlessly cracked the nearby Wi-Fi, then leisurely sipped a cup of coffee.
Just then, his phone vibrated. Qin Ruo glanced at the caller ID and smiled faintly. He picked up: "Hello, good evening."
"Boss, good evening my ass—it's morning here! Black Bear here, not trying to diss you, but you just up and vanished without a word. The whole Blood Wolf crew's in an uproar. Funny, right?!"
Hearing Black Bear's complaints, Qin Ruo realized he and the others were in different time zones now. He replied indifferently, "Black Bear, cut the crap with me. With you bunch of little rascals around, Blood Wolf will keep heading in the right direction. Just think of it as me taking a vacation."
The other side chuckled awkwardly, then said, "Right, Boss, now that you're back in the country, why not find us a sister-in-law? We've sampled girls worldwide, but the best are still the Hua Xia lasses."
"Now that's more like it." Qin Ruo smiled and hung up, picking up his coffee and casually scanning the news on his laptop.
After a moment, he felt bored.
Thinking about how he owned such a huge house and was still single, Qin Ruo felt pretty unforgivable—like he was really holding himself back!
At twenty-five or twenty-six, finding a woman was the proper thing to do. He had to carry on the Qin family line, after all.
Casually, he posted a rental ad online: "Yours truly is a super invincible handsome guy who makes flowers bloom, cars explode tires—full of a sense of justice. Got a luxurious three-story villa on Huaihe Ancient Street in District C, with outdoor pool. Seeking roommate, price negotiable. Ages 18-30, men or women welcome, beauties get 50% off."
Of course, if a guy applied, Qin Ruo would definitely turn him down.
