Chapter 020: Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill

Chapter 020: Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill

Bai Xuewu was mature, alluring, and a supreme expert in her own right. Seeing her now — grief-stricken, furious, and humiliated — only made her even more fatally tempting to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng's heart began to stir restlessly again. For just a moment, he even genuinely considered using this opportunity to get a good look at Bai Xuewu's voluptuous chest.

He took a deep breath and forcibly expelled those improper thoughts from his mind. "Simple," Lin Feng said. "I want the bra you're wearing."

Even though she had mentally prepared herself, Bai Xuewu still felt an intense wave of shame wash over her.

Someone had once tried to defile Bai Xuewu. That person had long since been reduced to ashes in an urn, repenting for eternity.

She wanted to run Lin Feng through with her sword — but this was a critical moment, and there truly was no one more suitable than a student to serve as Bai Yichen's part-time bodyguard.

At least the other party was only asking for her bra.

Bai Xuewu turned around and walked into the darkness. She reached under her outer garment, and after a moment, produced a black lace bra and handed it to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng took it in hand, his fingers naturally settling inside the cups. He could feel that the cups still carried the warmth of Bai Xuewu's body, and the bra seemed to retain a faint, lingering fragrance.

The Peach Blossom Manual's latest mission was to clearly see the style of Bai Xuewu's close-fitting bra. Lin Feng hadn't wanted to take advantage of her, so he'd asked Bai Xuewu to take it off herself — that way he could see its style without making her feel too humiliated.

Yet after receiving it, Lin Feng felt a vague sense of disappointment, though he didn't regret his choice.

A young man should be romantic, not vulgar — there's a difference between the two.

"Are you satisfied now?" Bai Xuewu asked.

Lin Feng nodded. After Bai Xuewu began to leave, he quickly took her bra under a streetlamp and examined it carefully.

Bai Xuewu apparently had a preference for black — this bra, too, was predominantly black in style. The cups were quite large, and felt rather substantial in his hand, clearly of excellent quality. The outer edges and rims of the cups were adorned with a layer of black lace, making it look beautiful and sensual.

However, after scrutinizing it for a long while — to the point where he was confident he could picture it with his eyes closed — Lin Feng felt no change whatsoever from the Peach Blossom Manual.

He pulled out the Manual and checked. Sure enough, the latest mission still hadn't been completed; its status was still "In Progress."

Lin Feng didn't believe there was anything wrong with the Manual.

Then why?

Could it be that this wasn't the bra she had actually been wearing?

"Hey, wait a moment!" Lin Feng hurriedly called out to Bai Xuewu.

"What else do you want?" Bai Xuewu stopped in her tracks but didn't turn around to look at him.

"This isn't the one you were wearing, is it?" Lin Feng said.

Bai Xuewu's delicate shoulders trembled slightly. She was clearly on the verge of exploding with rage. After a long pause, she said quietly, "I assure you — that is the one I was wearing."

Lin Feng was fairly certain Bai Xuewu wasn't lying. Between the faint bodily fragrance clinging to it and the warmth still trapped in the cups, it was clear she had just taken it off. Besides, Bai Xuewu had no way of knowing he would demand her bra in advance — she couldn't possibly have prepared a spare.

Then where was the problem?

That's right!

The mission specified seeing the style of Bai Xuewu's close-fitting bra — close-fitting meant it had to be on her body. Taken off, it no longer counted.

To complete the mission, he needed to have her put it back on and let him see it.

He hadn't expected that his act of good intentions would end up backfiring so spectacularly.

He could only apologize for what came next!

Lin Feng shook his head slightly and said, "I don't believe you. Unless you put it back on and let me take another look — then I'll believe you."

Bai Xuewu's body trembled faintly and continuously. The air around them seemed to drop to freezing point in an instant. Lin Feng had that same feeling he'd had when he first encountered Bai Xuewu in the car — he knew he had been locked onto by her killing intent, and his life and death now hung on a single thought of hers.

After a long silence, Bai Xuewu exhaled softly, turned around, took back her bra, and walked back into the darkness.

A short while later, she returned, eyes closed.

"Let's go under the streetlamp — it's too dark to see clearly here," Lin Feng suggested.

This time, Bai Xuewu didn't hesitate for even half a second. She moved cleanly under the streetlamp.

Looking at that icy, beautiful face and the rapidly rising and falling contours beneath her garment, Lin Feng silently offered an apology in his heart, then reached out to undo Bai Xuewu's buttons.

Having been through a similar experience before, Lin Feng was considerably steadier this time. Though his hands still trembled a little, he successfully undid the buttons.

Skin white as congealed fat, smooth and flawless as polished jade; two magnificent peaks surging forward; a deep, unfathomable valley — it all appeared before Lin Feng's eyes once more.

He took a deep breath and forcibly averted his gaze, focusing on the black lace bra.

Once he sensed a change in the Manual, Lin Feng looked away and said, "That'll do."

After Bai Xuewu buttoned herself back up, she turned her back to Lin Feng. Her voice was cold and absolute: "For this one year, I expect you to honor your promise and protect Yichen. Remember — stay alive, because one year from now, I will kill you with my own hands."

A chill ran through Lin Feng's heart. He knew Bai Xuewu was not joking.

In one year, Bai Yichen would graduate from high school and would presumably no longer need his protection. At that point, Bai Xuewu would strike without hesitation.

Lin Feng felt the enormous pressure, yet he wasn't particularly afraid. The fact that he'd survived to this point meant he was already ahead. Besides, he still had a full year — and with the help of the Peach Blossom Manual, there was no saying he couldn't withstand Bai Xuewu's unparalleled sword strike a year from now.

After returning home, Lin Feng eagerly flipped open the Manual.

The Manual announced that the mission had been completed, and Lin Feng received a reward of 5 Peach Blossom Points.

Whether it was the threat from the Heavenly Wolf Gang or the pressure from Bai Xuewu, both drove Lin Feng to desperately crave strength. Anything unrelated to improving his own power was something he simply wouldn't bother thinking about.

At present, he had mastered the upper half of the Iron Shirt technique, greatly enhancing his physical defense. He also had the Iron Sand Palm for active offense. What he lacked most was raw physical strength.

The Peach Blossom Manual contained quite a few secret techniques for increasing one's physical strength or inner energy — but learning them required a large number of Peach Blossom Points.

Those related to increasing inner energy, in particular, required an almost frightening amount.

After filtering through the options, Lin Feng settled on one technique.

The Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill.

The Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill recorded in the Manual was not the same as the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Skill from Jin Yong's novels. In those Jin Yong novels, the Dragon-Elephant Prajna Skill had thirteen levels — mastering the tenth level would grant the combined might of ten dragons and ten elephants. But novels are fiction. The Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill in the Manual actually existed in reality.

According to the Manual's description, the Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill was not an inner energy cultivation technique — it was purely a method for increasing raw physical strength. It was divided into four levels. Mastering the first level granted the Strength of One Bull; the second level, the Strength of Two Tigers; the third, the Strength of Nine Bulls; and the fourth, the Strength of Nine Bulls and Two Tigers.

One should not underestimate the Strength of One Bull — "strong as an ox" is not just an expression. Lin Feng recalled watching an online video of a man in a tug-of-war against a bull: it took eighteen strong men just to beat one bull.

The true Strength of One Bull — one could only imagine how terrifying that was. Channeling that much force into an Iron Sand Palm strike... anyone it grazed would be injured; anyone it landed on would likely die.

And as luck would have it, learning the first level of the Bull-Tiger Prajna Skill required exactly 5 Peach Blossom Points.

Lin Feng was only Bai Yichen's part-time bodyguard on school grounds — he was only obligated to intervene if Bai Yichen faced danger within the campus.

Therefore, after agreeing to be Bai Yichen's part-time bodyguard, Lin Feng's daily life carried on without any particular change.

Li Haidong had come to the school looking for Lin Feng once. After being dealt with by Lin Feng a second time, he'd also been beaten up by Wang Jun, and so he had quit the Heavenly Wolf Gang. The reason he came to find Lin Feng was simply to warn him that Wang Jun would not let things rest and would certainly launch an even more intense act of revenge.

In truth, even without Li Haidong's warning, Lin Feng knew Wang Jun wouldn't just let it go. As the son of the Chief of Police — a proper second-generation official — how could he stomach taking a loss in front of someone from a poor family?

Standing behind Wang Jun was not only his father, the Chief of Police, but also the Heavenly Wolf Gang. The most likely thing Wang Jun would do was use the Heavenly Wolf Gang to come after him.

Right now, what Lin Feng hoped for most was for the Manual to trigger a new mission. Only by completing missions could he earn Peach Blossom Points, and only by accumulating enough Peach Blossom Points could he be confident in wiping out the Heavenly Wolf Gang.

Unfortunately, the missions in the Peach Blossom Manual were triggered events. Since completing the last mission, the Manual had been completely silent.

"Brother Xiaofeng, my cousin came to see me — let's all go have dinner together!" Tian Mengqian said to Lin Feng when afternoon classes let out.

"The one from the technical school?" Lin Feng frowned slightly.

Lin Feng knew one of Tian Mengqian's cousins — a boy named Jiao Zhibin, who attended a technical school. His father was a small construction contractor, the family seemed to be doing reasonably well financially, and he often came to Qinglan Middle School to visit Tian Mengqian.

With a man's instinct, Lin Feng suspected that Jiao Zhibin's feelings toward Tian Mengqian went beyond ordinary cousin affection. Lin Feng treated Mengqian like a little sister and wouldn't object to her having a boyfriend — at their age in high school, dating wasn't unusual at all. But between close relatives? That was a different matter.

"Yeah, that's him."

Lin Feng nodded. He had tagged along for meals many times before.

The two had barely stepped out of the school gates when they spotted Jiao Zhibin waiting outside.

Jiao Zhibin wasn't particularly tall, but he was heavyset. At that moment, he was dressed in a white taekwondo uniform, looking energetic and spirited — carrying himself with a certain air of a martial practitioner.

"Qianqian." When Jiao Zhibin saw Tian Mengqian, he shot a somewhat wary glance at the person beside her. Seeing that Lin Feng was indeed there, a trace of disgust flickered across his face.

"Cousin." Tian Mengqian smiled and nodded.

Jiao Zhibin also offered Lin Feng a smile and said, "I'm Qianqian's cousin. I was planning to take her out for dinner. If you've got things to do, feel free to head back first!"

Every single time before, whenever Jiao Zhibin came to take Tian Mengqian out for a meal, Lin Feng had always been there. This time, Jiao Zhibin struck first — stopping just short of outright telling Lin Feng to get lost.

"I'm not busy."

He hadn't expected Lin Feng to be so easygoing about it. Jiao Zhibin's expression darkened, but with Tian Mengqian present, he couldn't say much more and could only stew in silent frustration.
