Chapter 11: He'll Cry After One Punch
"Everyone hold back. Let me have some fun with him first." The burly, crew-cut assassin with gold cloud-patterned edges waved his hands at those around him.
The other assassins retreated a few steps, but still kept Xiao Tian and his group surrounded.
Everyone wore playful expressions as they watched Xiao Tian and Zhong Ling in the center, looking like they were watching a good show.
"Your Highness, please be careful. He's likely the Vice Tower Master of Blood Cloud Tower, Skull-Splitting Hand Huang Gang!" Zhong Ling's face paled slightly, somewhat nervous as she warned Xiao Tian.
"That title sounds pretty intimidating." Xiao Tian crossed his arms, standing in place without moving, his gaze wandering around as he listened carefully.
He was listening to breathing sounds, confirming the distribution of personnel throughout the Blood Cloud Tower headquarters.
This was to prevent anyone from escaping and exposing their presence when the fighting started.
"Looks like the Prince of the Great Yan Dynasty has more guts than I imagined. You don't even put me in your eyes, huh?" Huang Gang chuckled lightly, watching Xiao Tian look around.
He turned his head toward Yun Zunlai, who stood with his hands behind his back at the Blood Cloud Tower entrance, and shouted: "Tower Master, can I play a bit rough? Deduct the medical expenses from my bounty."
"I really can't do anything with you. If you really want to play, watch your limits. Don't kill him." Yun Zunlai shook his head repeatedly, seeing Huang Gang's old habit acting up again.
Having received Yun Zunlai's permission, Huang Gang grinned with satisfaction and walked leisurely toward Xiao Tian.
"Your pretty face is quite handsome. Delicate arms, tender flesh, fair and clean. Looks like the Empress of Great Yan likes pretty boys like you." Huang Gang looked down at Xiao Tian, stroking his chin as he taunted.
"Hey, you guys think this pretty boy will cry after I punch him?"
Huang Gang's words stirred up everyone's emotions, and they burst into laughter.
"Hahaha, more than crying, I'm more concerned about whether he'll wet his pants."
"I'm more worried that Master Huang will kill him with one punch. That'd be hard to explain to the Tower Master."
Facing the mockery from all around, Xiao Tian calmly looked at Huang Gang and pointed at his forehead.
"Hit me here."
Xiao Tian's words immediately silenced the surroundings, and Huang Gang's expression froze.
Did this Prince of the Great Yan Dynasty not understand his situation?
Actively provoking him?
"What, you don't dare?" Seeing Huang Gang not move for a long time, Xiao Tian's lips curved up. "Little coward."
"Coward my ass!" The veins on Huang Gang's forehead throbbed as he roared and threw a punch straight at Xiao Tian's forehead.
He was naturally hot-tempered and easily angered, always wanting to smash people's heads.
Otherwise, how would he have earned the title Skull-Splitting Hand?
"Bastard!" Seeing this, Yun Zunlai shouted angrily, feeling even more regretful.
He shouldn't have agreed to let that brute Huang Gang act recklessly. Xiao Tian might still be useful—he wanted to interrogate him for intelligence.
He also wanted to know whether the spirit artifact that broke through their Blood Cloud Tower's formation was related to the Great Yan Dynasty's secrets.
Now it was ruined. If Huang Gang killed Xiao Tian, they wouldn't be able to ask anything.
BOOM!!
A massive impact sound rang out, and the colliding force rippled outward from between Huang Gang and Xiao Tian as the center.
The commotion here couldn't settle for a long time.
The expressions on the faces of the surrounding assassins had undergone a complete one-eighty. Each of them looked like their eyeballs were about to pop out.
The female assassin who had been casually leaning against the Blood Cloud Tower also suddenly straightened up, unable to believe it.
"This..." Shocked, she quickly looked toward the Tower Master beside her.
Yun Zunlai's reaction wasn't much better than hers. He was equally frightened by the scene before him.
Huang Gang's punch hadn't smashed Xiao Tian's head. It hadn't even managed to harm him at all.
He still maintained his punching posture, but this punch had been casually blocked halfway by a single index finger.
Xiao Tian—according to intelligence, just an ordinary person, a prince kept by the Empress of Great Yan in the palace.
One finger had blocked Huang Gang's furious strike?
"Did you not eat?" Xiao Tian looked at Huang Gang before him and asked seriously. "Can you use a bit more force?"
Hearing Xiao Tian's words, Huang Gang snapped out of his daze. His face flushed red, as if he'd suffered tremendous humiliation.
"Die!!!" Huang Gang's mind had been overwhelmed by rage. The spiritual qi within his body accumulated again, and his fist was now wreathed in brilliant gold.
BANG!
The golden-glowing fist struck out again with Huang Gang's fury, compressing the air and producing explosive sounds.
BOOM!!!
Like a golden meteor, the punch hammered toward Xiao Tian's head at close range.
The powerful strike collided violently with Xiao Tian's index finger once more.
With this dull collision sound, the collapsing golden spiritual qi transformed into shockwaves that made the surrounding assassins' faces change drastically. They had no choice but to condense their spiritual qi to resist the aftershocks.
Zhong Ling, who was right beside them, hurriedly drew her sword and stabbed it into the ground, gripping the hilt tightly to barely avoid being blown away.
She was now immensely grateful for the Mountain Guardian Talisman that protected her from harm.
"Tsk tsk tsk!" Xiao Tian wiggled his index finger and scolded Huang Gang with disappointment. "What are you doing? I told you to use force!!"
"AHHHHH!" Stimulated by Xiao Tian's contemptuous gaze, Huang Gang flew into an impotent rage, his fists hammering forward one after another.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Nearly pushing himself to his limit, Huang Gang's fists became like phantoms, landing precisely on Xiao Tian's index finger.
Those who knew the truth understood that Huang Gang was trying to smash Xiao Tian's head.
Those who didn't might think this Vice Tower Master of Blood Cloud Tower was giving Xiao Tian's index finger a comprehensive massage.
PFFT!
The violent impact force rebounded onto Huang Gang's arms. His muscles began to split open, blood spraying out.
CRACK.
The sound of bones fracturing began to ring out. With continuous punching, Huang Gang clearly couldn't withstand it anymore.
BANG!
The rebounding force from the final punch sent Huang Gang flying backward, crashing hard onto the ground.
Both his arms were twisted, completely unrecognizable from their original shape.
Not only that, the rebounding force traveled through his arms and affected his entire body.
At this moment, Huang Gang looked like a bloody mess, completely unable to stand up.
As for Prince Xiao Tian of the Great Yan Dynasty?
He still stood in place, one index finger raised, coldly looking at Huang Gang on the ground.
"Your way of playing is very novel, very special. You almost beat yourself to death." Xiao Tian lowered his finger and commented on the blood-soaked Huang Gang.
Huang Gang trembled all over, wanting to speak but unable to get the words out.
He was a brute. Just now, relying on sheer recklessness, he'd kept attacking Xiao Tian.
Only now did he calm down and realize—what kind of monster had he been fighting?
Huang Gang's eyes widened, feeling incredibly wronged, tears streaming from his eyes.
In his heart, he had only one thought: "Those bastards in the intelligence department, are they all brain-dead? What kind of garbage intelligence did you collect?"
This turn of events left even Xiao Tian confused.
How did this guy end up beating himself to tears?
