Chapter 9: Are You a Pig?!
Soon, the fight came to an end.
On the ground lay about twenty people in disarray. The lucky ones had fainted early on, while the unfortunate ones were foaming at the mouth, convulsing all over. Even if they passed out, the pain would soon wake them up, leaving them in a state of torment.
Liu Hu was still somewhat conscious, but both his arms and legs had been broken by Yang Ning, leaving him paralyzed on the ground, unable to move.
“Too brutal! This big pervert is just…”
Throughout the entire fight, Little Loli had watched, her eyes wide with shock. She seemed to be searching for the right word to describe Yang Ning. After thinking for a long time, her little face turned red with effort before she finally blurted out, “A beast!”
Lin Manxuan covered her mouth, taking a while to come back to her senses. As she let out a long breath, a look of relief after surviving a disaster appeared on her face. She couldn’t imagine whether she would have the courage to keep living if she had been violated by a monster like Liu Hu.
She pulled the stunned Little Loli into her arms, secretly glancing at Yang Ning. A trace of inexplicable emotion flickered in her beautiful eyes.
Seeing Yang Ning approach, Liu Hu’s heart trembled with every step he took. Shaking like a leaf, he looked as if he had seen a devil. “Don’t kill me! Don’t kill me!”
“Who sent you here? You can choose not to talk, but I can’t guarantee that your third leg won’t get broken too!”
Though the immediate crisis seemed resolved, Yang Ning couldn’t be sure there weren’t more ambushes waiting. Leaving this place as soon as possible was the wisest choice.
“Old Gao! His name is Gao Fu! Yes, it’s Gao Fu! He contacted me this morning, saying we could intercept your car here.” Liu Hu’s eyes were filled with terror as he screamed hysterically.
“You’re lying!” Little Loli shrieked, her small eyes turning red with anger.
Little Loli’s face showed disbelief as she gritted her teeth and glared at Liu Hu. Even Lin Manxuan was dumbfounded, her eyes filled with doubt and complex emotions.
“Get in the car. We’re leaving now!”
Lin Manxuan snapped out of her daze, nodded at Yang Ning’s words, and pulled Little Loli into the car.
Yang Ning gave Liu Hu a cold stare before stepping hard on his left leg. Instantly, a blood-curdling scream, like a pig being slaughtered, echoed through the air.
“I’m crippling one of your legs. Don’t let me see you again!”
That was the last thing Liu Hu heard before passing out.
Yang Ning had plenty of questions in his mind, but he could tell that Lin Manxuan was in a turbulent state. Even her driving seemed distracted.
Even Little Loli, who usually loved to bicker with him, was unusually quiet. Before long, she fell asleep, clearly shaken by the ordeal.
Yang Ning could only keep his questions to himself. Squinting his eyes, he began to think about how to earn points.
“Aside from specific task rewards, the only consistent way to earn points right now is by selling items to the System. For every ten thousand yuan made, I get ten points?”
Yang Ning frowned slightly. To him, this wasn’t exactly good news.
For instance, the Amber Thumb Ring. Selling it to the System would only net him 380,000 yuan, whereas selling it to Lin Manxuan had earned him a full million.
The difference was a staggering 600,000 yuan!
But on second thought, Yang Ning felt a sense of relief. The only reason he pursued maximizing money was for the sake of Attribute Points.
However, the items sold in the [Shop] were all precious and practical. Take the [Strength Amplification Scroll] he had bought earlier—it wasn’t something money could measure.
You need money, but you also need to be alive to enjoy it. Lin Manxuan was wealthy, wasn’t she? To buy the Amber Thumb Ring, she directly offered a million yuan. Yet, when faced with someone like Liu Hu, wasn’t she just like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered?
Yang Ning was short on money, but he was even shorter on points. There are gains and losses, and this was a dilemma worth pondering.
Because he couldn’t be sure which side was the gain and which was the loss.

The car drove into Huahai, a sprawling international metropolis. After a series of stops and starts, they arrived at a suburban villa complex.
The security guard at the gate glanced at the license plate and immediately let them through, clearly familiar with Lin Manxuan’s white BMW.
After parking the car in the garage of one of the villas, Lin Manxuan dragged her suitcase straight up to the second floor, leaving Yang Ning and Little Loli staring at each other.
The villa was quite impressive—elegant and refined yet comfortable. The porch and entrance hall extended north and south, with the living room and bedrooms featuring low windows and hexagonal bay windows for scenic views. The dining room connected north and south, blending indoor and outdoor scenery seamlessly.
As Yang Ning walked around, he took in the villa’s decor and furnishings. Passing by the kitchen, he chuckled, “Kid, does your family hire a maid? With such a big kitchen, it can’t just sit empty, right?”
“Nope, we don’t. Usually, it’s just my sister and me cooking.” Perhaps because Yang Ning had heroically saved Lin Manxuan and her, the little girl wasn’t as hostile toward him anymore.
Yang Ning gave her a skeptical look and teased, “You’re not just messing around in the kitchen, are you?”
“What kind of look is that!” Little Loli puffed up angrily, clenching her tiny fists.
“Really?” Yang Ning raised an eyebrow in surprise.
“Of course! I often help my sister rinse rice, cook meals, and sometimes wash dishes,” Little Loli huffed, a hint of pride in her voice.
“Oh, I didn’t expect you to know how to cook!” Yang Ning smirked mischievously.
“Of course I do.” Little Loli took a cautious half-step back, warily asking, “What are you up to?”
Yang Ning rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “I’m thinking if you’re cooking tonight, I’ll eat a bit more.”
At first, Little Loli looked as if she were guarding against a wolf, but upon hearing this, she unexpectedly blushed and seemed shy.
“Fine, I’ll cook more tonight.”
“Then start with three pots. If it’s not enough, we’ll make more,” Yang Ning nodded.
“How… how much?” Little Loli was dumbfounded.
“Three pots. If I’m still hungry, we’ll cook more,” Yang Ning said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
“Three… three pots?” Little Loli’s eyes widened. Realizing Yang Ning didn’t seem to be joking, her little face turned red from holding back before she finally screamed, “Are you a pig?!”
At that moment, the sound of a flushing toilet echoed.
“Kid, is there someone else in the house?” Yang Ning frowned, instantly becoming alert.
Before Little Loli could answer, there was a loud bang as the nearby bathroom door swung open. A tall, beautiful woman with long, flowing hair stepped out.
Upon seeing Yang Ning, the long-haired beauty frowned at first. But when she saw Little Loli rushing toward her, a bright smile spread across her face.
Yang Ning was completely stunned. To be precise, his eyes were practically glued to her!
“Tongtong, is your sister back too? Where is she?” the long-haired beauty asked with a warm smile as she hugged Little Loli.
Little Loli replied, “She’s upstairs.”
“Tongtong, who’s this guy?” The long-haired beauty pointed a delicate finger at Yang Ning, who was already sporting a goofy, lovestruck expression.
Little Loli nestled in the beauty’s arms and declared confidently, “Fei’er sister, he’s a big pervert!”
Yang Ning’s mind went blank. This little brat was actually tattling on him right to his face.
